Last week, Year 8 took part in a virtual Christmas event ‘Merry Mathsmas’ alongside other schools.
The girls had the opportunity to explore how Maths relates to Christmas including the Maths behind a cracker activity which they’ve taken home to test their families with. They also took part in a festive lottery and discovered how it is possible to create various shapes out of paper with intricate folding and a single cut.
The girls all thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon of Maths!
