In Geography this term, Year 7 pupils have been learning about volcanoes and plate boundaries and creating their own volcano models.
The pupils researched volcanoes in-depth, before visually representing what they learned, in a creative way.
“During the class presentations, I found it really interesting to see what other people had done, and to get a better idea of the different types of volcano. Some people had made amazing cakes, which showed the outer and inner structure of their volcano, while others made brilliant papier-mache models. Some people even attempted to get their model to erupt, which I think was a very good demonstration of a volcano eruption.” Hannah, Year 7 pupil
