Year 7 pupils paused with their academic learning this week, to join in the nationwide live lesson from Brook and Lil-lets.

As a follow-on to the Health and Wellbeing lessons that they studied in PSHE, pupils consolidated their knowledge about puberty in a timely and age appropriate way, preparing themselves for the changes they will experience to their bodies, feelings and lives.

The pupils were encouraged to be empathetic with and support one another during puberty, so that everyone is able to have open, supportive conversation about it if they wish to.

“It was good to have a recap and learn a little more detail.  There was lots of good information to help support people who have just started their period.” Chloe, Year 7 pupil
