Last week, our Year 7 pupils embarked on a memorable journey, participating in the annual PGL adventure at the scenic Windmill Hill in the captivating Sussex Downs. Over the course of three action-packed days, they immersed themselves in a variety of team-building activities, supported by our Year 13 House Captains who also attended the trip.
The girls eagerly embraced thrilling challenges such as conquering Jacobs Ladder, scaling climbing walls, mastering the art of fencing, showcasing their precision with axe throwing, and honing their archery skills. These activities were not only exhilarating but also effective in fostering crucial life skills. Teamwork, interpersonal communication, and the ability to take initiative were woven into every experience, leaving the students not only with a sense of accomplishment but also with newfound bonds and personal growth.
We hope the trip will be a cherished memory for these young adventurers, helping them become more resilient and resourceful individuals.
