At Bromley High School we pride ourselves on celebrating people from all backgrounds and all cultures.

In Philosophy & Theology lessons, Year 7 took part in rein-acting the Jewish festival Rosh Hashanah which is the birthday of the universe, the day God created Adam and Eve, it is celebrated as the head of the Jewish year.

Girls had the opportunity to learn about the festival, made and tried some traditional bakes such as apple and honey cakes or Charoset which is a sweet, dark-colored paste made of fruits and nuts eaten at the Passover Seder.
