Last week, Year 7 enjoyed a three-day team building PGL trip to Windmill Hill, an impressive Grade 2 listed Mansion House in the Sussex Downs.
The girls participated in eight different fun activities including: orienteering, zip line, giant swing, abseiling, rock climbing, trapeze, sensory trail, and archery. All the activities promoted teamwork, interpersonal communication and using initiative.
Each day after dinner, the pupils took part in evening activities. On Wednesday they had a campfire, sang songs and played a few games, and on Thursday they took part in sports tournaments, including “Under Over” and “Tug of War”.
“It was great being with my friends all again, after a year of going in and out of lock down and doing home learning. We all had such a great time and lots of fun and made many new friends. We wish we could have stayed there much longer but the coach ride home had many tired and happy people on it.” Sophie, Year 7
