To give our talented Year 6 pupils an insight into what it means to be a Bromley High Scholar, a range of taster sessions have been organised to meet and hear from current Senior School Scholars.
For Art, Music and PE, the girls have a mini masterclass in the subject followed by a question-and-answer session. For Drama, the girls have an exciting opportunity to observe and take part in a Sixth Form drama lesson followed by a question-and-answer session with the students.
As a charity, the GDST aims to seek out the brightest, most deserving girls for bursaries and scholarships so that the largest possible number of talented girls can benefit from an education at the UK’s largest group independent girls’ schools. Scholarships are awarded on merit and offered to those girls who demonstrate outstanding ability in individual subjects and disciplines.
The taster events are open to all current Year 6 students who have applied, or are considering applying, for a scholarship in a particular discipline. So far our pupils have attended the Music and Art Scholar taster sessions, with PE and Drama sessions happening later this month.
