Year 6 pupils have been participating in scholarship taster sessions to learn more about what it’s like to be a Bromley High School scholar.
This week, they explored our two newest scholarships, the Minerva and 140 scholarships. These exclusive Bromley High School scholarships celebrate women in leadership and encourage pupils to actively advocate for diverse communities.
The Minerva scholarship is designed to empower female pupils to become influential voices in public speaking, debates, and global conversations. The 140 scholarship, launched to mark the school’s 140th anniversary, recognises pupils’ exceptional dedication to strengthening our community.
As part of the taster sessions, pupils practiced writing whip speeches and developed community partnership projects focused on sustainability. These sessions marked the conclusion of our scholarship taster fortnight, where Year 6 pupils had the opportunity to work with senior school specialists across various fields. We look forward to receiving their applications as they move on to the next stage of the process!
