Congratulations to Year 6 pupil Shivya who has won the Purple Mash National Poetry Day Competition in the under 12 category.

The National Poetry Day competition gives pupils the opportunity to have their poetry published in Serial Mash, an online library for reading and comprehension. This year, pupils submitted a poem based on the theme ‘The Environment’.  Her poem will feature in the National Poetry Day Anthology, which will be accessible to all Serial Mash and Purple Mash subscribers.

One poem from each category will be randomly selected to be made available as an audio poem, read by Leona Lewis, brand ambassador of EcoFlix, the world’s first global non-profit streaming platform focused on producing its own shows that are dedicated to wildlife conservation.
