In an impressive feat, Year 6 pupil Beatrice clinched victory at the Welsh Girls’ Cyclocross National Championship last weekend in the under 12 category.

Opting for the under 12 category, as British Championships require a under 14 age, Beatrice faced a challenging field of older competitors. Undeterred by the wet and muddy conditions, with temperatures not exceeding 1°C, she showcased dedication and skill, outperforming her rivals.

Overcoming the disadvantage of her younger age, Beatrice’s hard work paid off, securing a notable win in a demanding competition. Her success highlights determination, talent, and a commendable approach to competitive cycling at a young age.
