Year 6 spent a fantastic week in the French region of Normandy. Girls challenged themselves by participating in a variety of activities within the beautiful chateau grounds.
Interviewing local people, carrying out a treasure hunt and making authentic French mayonnaise allowed girls the opportunity to improve their speaking and listening skills. Our history topic ‘Britain at War’ was enriched through visiting a combination of a museum, trench, memorial and crater within the Somme area.
