The Junior School Breakout Space and Art Room were abuzz on Monday afternoon, when Year 5 hosted a mini-science fair all about space.

Every Year 5 pupil had something to showcase; from a model satellite to gigantic papier mache planets, from a PowerPoint on meteors to a quiz about Pluto, the range of topics and variety of presentation methods was truly out of this world! The pupils exceeded expectations with their homework projects, leaving every visitor feeling they had learned so much, be it black holes and spaghettification, gamma bursts or the surface of Mars.

Year 3 and 4 pupils attended the fair and were perfect visitors; engaged and curious, they questioned Year 5, finding out as much about their creative approaches as they did about the solar system. As one pupil said: “ I really love learning about Space and seeing all this work is just so exciting.”
