Congratulations to Year 5 pupil Katy for her incredible achievement in raising over £300 for Cancer Research UK.

Katy participated in the Race for Life – Pretty Muddy Kids challenge, a fun and muddy obstacle course designed for children to help raise funds for vital cancer research.

Inspired by her grandfather’s battle with prostate cancer, Katy, alongside her father, took part in the race held at Blackheath. She thoroughly enjoyed tackling the obstacles, splashing through the mud, running, and soaking up the amazing atmosphere of the event.

Katy’s efforts have significantly contributed to the ongoing battle against cancer, demonstrating that even the youngest members of our community can make a meaningful impact. Well done, Katy!
