Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed being taken back to the time of the ancient Greeks yesterday.
Dressed as goddesses, pupils enjoyed a range of activities including pot making and traditional Greek games such as discus throwing.
The girls also took part in an interactive theatrical workshop based on the story of Medusa, which educated the group about the nuances of Greek tragedies and the importance of ‘large gestures’ to reach those sitting in the gods at the amphitheatre. The girls then tried to perform their own Greek plays!
