Year 4 pupil Sophie has donated 13 inches of hair to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which makes wigs for children who have lost their own hair through childhood cancer treatment or alopecia.
To donate to the charity, volunteers simply need to grow their hair so that at least 9 inches can be cut off. The hairdressers then send off the hair to the charity and give the volunteer a certificate. So far Sophie has raised £320 of her £500 goal: Donate now
