Last week Year 3 pupils immersed themselves in the wonders of nature during the Big Garden Birdwatch, guided by two enthusiastic volunteers from the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB).
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is committed to conserving and protecting bird species and their habitats through advocacy and environmental initiatives.
Armed with binoculars and clipboards, the students eagerly identified and counted various bird species on our school grounds. Through this activity the girls have contributed to the creation of a comprehensive overview of the local bird activity.
“I really enjoyed looking out for the different birds. It was really peaceful and I found it very interesting to learn about them. Now I think I’ve found a new hobby!”Talia, Year 3 pupil
