Junior School pupils are taking on a running challenge to raise money for the BowelBabe Charity Fund in support of Cancer Research UK.

In an extraordinary display of determination and teamwork, the Year 3 runners from Bromley High School have surpassed all expectations in their running challenge. With their eyes set on the target of 31 miles each for the month of May, the team not only met but exceeded this goal in spectacular fashion.

Remarkably, two team members, Iyla and Zoe, went above and beyond, individually completing more than the designated 31 miles. Additionally, several team members logged impressive mileage ranging between 10 and 21 miles each. Their collective effort and unwavering commitment underscored the true spirit of teamwork.

The impact of their endeavor extends beyond their athletic achievement. Through their remarkable efforts, they’ve rallied support and raised over £7,000, including Gift Aid, for the BowelBabe Charity Fund in support of Cancer Research UK.

The entire school community stands in awe of their dedication to such a worthy cause. Their resilience and compassion serve as an inspiration to us all. Congratulations to the Year 3 runners on this incredible accomplishment – Keep going, girls!
