On April 13th, Year 2 pupil Louise, the youngest member of the Kent under 11 girls’ team, played a crucial role in their victory at the National Inter-County Chess Finals in Oxford, scoring a perfect 3/3 points on the final board.
One week later, Louise served as a reserve member for the Kent under 9 mixed team, which secured a joint second-place finish in the National Inter-County Chess Finals, trailing behind Richmond and tying with Barnet, contributing 2/3 points to the team’s success.
Congratulations to Louise for this remarkable accomplishment!
