Year 2 pupil Cadence’s generosity shone as she celebrated her 5th, 6th, and 7th birthdays, foregoing presents to support Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.

Her selflessness touched hearts, raising an impressive £2,262.75 for Rainbows Hospice, a charity providing specialist care and emotional support for babies, children and young people with serious or terminal conditions and their loved ones.

Cadence chose the hospice as her charity as she “would like the children to be happy and smile, especially as they are poorly.”

“As Cadence’s parents, we are so proud that she has chosen to raise money for the third year. It is warming to see how a small suggestion back in 2021 has evolved so beautifully. It means much to Cadence – if the past two years are anything to go by, she will shriek loudly every time we tell her about a donation!” Kirsty & Ash (Cadence’s parents)
