Year 13 pupil Olivia has been offered a Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship from Durham University; a rare and impressive achievement that speaks for her talent, dedication, and potential for future success.

Durham University is renowned for its rigorous academic programs and vibrant arts scene. The Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship is one of the university’s most prestigious awards, recognising exceptional students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their chosen field.

In order to be considered for the scholarship, applicants must submit a portfolio of their work, showcasing their skills as a musician and their potential as a scholar. This includes recordings of performances, original compositions, essays on music theory or history, and letters of recommendation from music teachers or mentors.

“I am immensely grateful for the support and encouragement that the school and Music department has given me over the years. It has been fantastic to be part of music at Bromley High and I have thoroughly enjoyed every part of being a music scholar. I am excited by the opportunity to continue this role at university level.”Olivia, Year 13 pupil
