Year 12 pupils embarked on a remarkable journey to the Houses of Parliament, Supreme Court, and Parliament Square last week.
A captivating tour of both Houses was followed by an engaging laws and debating workshop held in Parliament, mirroring the House of Commons proceedings.
One of our Bromley High students, adorned in an impressive gown, served as a Speaker, impressing both the Parliament facilitator and our teachers with their sophisticated and passionate debate skills.
The visit continued with an enlightening exploration of the Supreme Court, deepening their understanding of our legal system.
The trip concluded with a guided tour of significant statues in Parliament Square, expertly led by Mr Tagg, focusing on the connections to the Protest, Agitation, and Reform paper studied in Year 13 History. The question lingers: Could a future Prime Minister be among this exceptional group?!
