Last week, the whole school celebrated our Spring Term Wellbeing Week with the theme ‘Pause & Reflect’.

Pausing to self-reflect enhances self-awareness by deepening the understanding of personal beliefs, motivations, and values. It fosters personal growth by identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. Additionally, it helps reduce stress and promotes overall well-being. Engaging in self-reflection allows individuals to assess their goals and align their actions accordingly, supporting continuous self-improvement and emotional resilience.

Pupils from Reception to Sixth Form were invited to participate in a number of activities designed to facilitate this. They enjoyed ‘Yogalates,’ mindful embroidery, mindful meditation, and several other slower-paced activities that allowed them the opportunity to identify their strengths.

“I enjoyed the Yogalates. I had to really focus on myself and was able to think about how strong I am.”Harriet, Year 9 pupil

“Thinking about what I am good at made me feel really good about myself.”Eloise, Year 10 pupil
