At Bromley High School we encourage pupils to be kind, not only to others, but to themselves. This term’s Wellbeing Week theme was ‘All-Through School Connect’ emphasising unity across all age groups.
The standout event was the Middle School Factor talent show, where the exceptional talents of Year 5 to Year 8 pupils were showcased over three days. There were over 20 entrants represented across the four year groups, showcasing a wealth of talent including gymnastics, tap dancing, singing, classical dance, and BMX skills. Teachers served on the judging panel, and competitors were cheered on by students from all year groups. The winners of each category will be announced soon, and we look forward to this wonderful event becoming an annual Middle School tradition.
Witnessing the entire school community come together to support each other and enjoy the performances was truly uplifting.
On Monday, the school united to honor Earth Day by crafting Earth Pledges akin to Tibetan Prayer Flags. Senior pupils found joy in creating foiled animals and engaging in mindful sustainable beading to mark the occasion. Meanwhile, Junior pupils relished making recyclable chain decorations, fostering a sense of environmental responsibility and unity across the school.
The week concluded with a lively Zumba session in the Junior School led by Mrs. Voice, while in the Senior School, Head of Computer Science Mr. Amponsah transformed into DJ Amponsah to host a spirited session of House Bingo.
