Last week, pupils from Years 7 and 8 took to the stage to perform in their respective Drama Festivals.
Year 7 entertained the audience with their adaptations of children’s stories, which featured characters ranging from animals in space to amateur detectives. The winning piece, ‘One Of Us Is Lying’, showcased the performers’ ability to create accurate characters.
In contrast, Year 8 seized the opportunity to present energetic and humorous pieces that were brimming with clever ideas and fast-paced scenarios. The award-winning performance, ‘Fixers Cosmetic Surgery’, captivated the audience with its engaging and entertaining nature.
