On Tuesday 16th May, the under 15 cricket team competed against St Lawrence College in the second round of the National Cup.
The Bromley High School team began by taking the batting position and managed to score 97 runs for 7 wickets within the allotted 20 overs. A notable performance came from Rosie, who contributed the highest runs of 28 from 28 balls. Unfortunately, the team suffered a defeat in this match.
During the fielding phase, Evie led the team’s bowling attack, followed by Rosie. Despite the team’s collective efforts and impressive bowling, St Lawrence College proved to be a highly skilled and formidable opponent. They displayed their dominance by achieving a total score of 101 runs for the loss of only one wicket in just 15 overs, securing their victory.
Despite the loss, the under 15 cricket team demonstrated admirable sportsmanship and determination throughout the match and can be commended for their efforts and commitment to the game.
