Having qualified with an impressive performance in the Kent Finals last November, our under 14A netball team took part in the Regional Netball Finals last Sunday.

Representing Team Kent, this marked a significant achievement for the school, having not qualified for such an event in many years.  Facing formidable opponents from Surrey, Essex, and Middlesex, including JAGS, St Paul’s, Putney High, Sevenoaks, Forest, Godolphin & Latymer, and Coopers’ Coborn, the competition was fierce.

Unfortunately late disruptions altered team dynamics, requiring the players to adapt quickly. Despite best efforts, the first game set a challenging tone for the day, with struggles to maintain possession and numerous unforced errors.

The competition proved ruthless, highlighting the need for precision and conviction on the court. Although the day didn’t unfold as desired, it served as a valuable learning experience.

We acknowledge the initial triumph of reaching this stage and are determined to apply these lessons for future success. Heads held high, Bromley girls remain resilient and prepared for the next opportunity.
