The under 13A netball team showcased their skills at the Kent County Netball finals tournament.

With each stretch and warm-up, the team braced themselves for the tough competition ahead, steadfast in their determination not to falter. Their inaugural game against Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School proved to be a nail-biter, with both teams leaving it all on the court. Despite an early setback, the team rallied, netting three goals before the final whistle and securing a gratifying victory.

Following a thorough analysis of their performance against Walthamstow Hall School, the team identified areas for improvement, recognizing the necessity to elevate their game. Throughout the tournament, they maintained an unyielding winning streak, asserting dominance over their adversaries and clinching the coveted top spot in their group. Though momentarily challenged by Kent College Penbury, who seized the lead, the team exhibited resilience, bouncing back to triumph over St Edmund’s Catholic School.

While their final showdown against St Ronans culminated in defeat, the team held their heads high, their spirits undaunted by the outcome, knowing they had poured their hearts into every match.

“Each match was a test of our skills and teamwork, and we emerged from the tournament with a sense of pride in our efforts. While we may not have won the trophy, the experience and memories we gained were invaluable, reminding us that success is measured not just by the outcome, but by the journey and the effort we put forth along the way.”Fola, U13A Netball Captain
