Our under 13 football team participated in a challenging match at Riddlesdown Collegiate last week, competing in round one of the Sisters n Sport National Football Under-13 Cup for Schools.

Despite falling behind 1-0 in the first half, our team exhibited tactical thinking, constant communication, and resilience.

Braving the cold, they defended rigorously while seizing every opportunity to shoot. Although Riddlesdown extended their lead to 2-0 in the second half, the perseverance of our players paid off. Holly showcased exceptional skills, maneuvering past defenders for an incredible shot, bringing the score to 2-1.

“Despite the loss, the match provided valuable insights for our training sessions. Holly, our player of the match, not only scored but excelled in the center, playing up a year. Congratulations to Holly!”Chloe, Year 8 pupil
