On Tuesday, the under 13 team played in the Kent 8s semi finals against St Edmunds.

They lost the toss and were elected to bat first. After an excellent batting performance, they put 78 on the board with only 2 wickets and 2 retirements. The strong bowling lineup took 2 wickets in the first over. Despite some misfields, St Edmunds needed 6 runs in the last over. The team held their nerve, and St Edmunds only scored 3 runs while losing 2 wickets, securing the win.

In the finals against Weald, the team fielded very well, and their bowling was tighter. Weald batted well but managed only 48 runs. The team started their batting strongly, but Weald’s impressive bowling made it a close contest. They narrowly lost by 7 runs.
