Last week, the under 11 team participated in the ESFA qualification tournament at St Mary’s Primary School.

The pupils played three matches, starting with a thrilling 3-2 victory against Balgowan Primary School. In their next two games, they showcased strong defensive skills, drawing 0-0 against St Mary’s and 1-1 against Alexandra Infant School. Bromley High School’s goal scorers were Erin, who netted three goals, and Saoirse, who contributed one.

The team performed brilliantly, finishing second overall in the tournament, which means they will advance to the next round next week. The pupils are excited about their upcoming matches and are eager to build on their success as they continue their journey in the competition.

“As captain, my player of the tournament is Victoria who had a great game in goal. I am very proud of everyone’s team spirit and let’s hope we can perform just as well next week.  Go Team Bromley High School!”Erin, U11 A-team Football Captain
