Last week, Bromley High School’s football under 15 team played against Redborne Upper School in the national cup semi-final.
The team started slowly, and unfortunately, they conceded an early goal, putting them 1-0 behind. However, they kept their heads up, and after a quick water break, they came back strongly. The score quickly became level at 1-1, thanks to a brilliant cross from Rosie and an amazing finish from Millicent.
Regrettably, they later conceded another goal. Nevertheless, the team displayed great resilience and determination throughout the entire match, persistently striving to find the back of the net. Despite creating numerous chances, luck was not on their side that day.
The team finished the match 3-1 behind after giving away a last-minute goal.
“We finished as a team and are proud to have secured a place as one of the top 4 schools in all of England”Chloe, U15 Football Vice-Captain
