Last week, a team of ten girls competed in the U11 Bromley Youth Games at the Wickham Park Sports Club.
They had a fantastic day of cricket, working well as a team and supporting each other while demonstrating great sportsmanship throughout the day. There was some excellent bowling on display, with a particular mention to Sienna, who had a wicket maiden over and only gave away 10 runs throughout the day.
The team showed their versatility by taking turns as bowlers, wicket keepers, and fielders in various positions, displaying excellent fielding skills. Eliza stood out in the batting, scoring numerous 4’s and coming very close to scoring some 6’s.
Overall, the team achieved some great totals, losing only one match, and they worked extremely hard both in batting and fielding. Congratulations to all involved!
