We are delighted to announce that two Junior School girls have won the national Children’s Writers and Illustrators for Stories and Literacy postcard competition.
Children’s Writers and Illustrators for Stories and Literacy (CWISL) is a dynamic group of contemporary children’s writers and illustrators who are passionate about promoting a love of books, reading and creative writing.
The competition was to design a postcard using words or pictures and this year’s theme was Outside. Year 3 Ayla’s entry won the 5-7 years category and Year 6 Lia’s postcard won the 8-10 age category.
Congratulations to both girls who received a selection of signed books for their prizes.
