Last Monday, Senior students had the opportunity to hear from Amelia Clapham, a Bromley High School alumna and music therapist, who shared insights about her work.
Amelia discussed her aims and how she achieves them through communication with musical instruments and songwriting. The students were intrigued to learn about the impact she makes on the children she works with and were surprised to hear that there are only nearly 800 music therapists in the country.
“This talk was highly informative and enjoyable, and it inspired me to consider music therapy as a potential career path in the future.”Millie, Year 10 pupil
