On Monday 5th February, Bromley High School’s ESU Public Speaking team made their way to Farringtons School to compete in the second round of the 2023/24 season.

Despite stiff competition from Farringtons, Trinity School and Old Palace, Bromley qualified for the regional final, marking the third consecutive year they have reached this stage of the prestigious competition.

As the speaker, Year 11 Fifi delivered a powerful and witty speech on the topic of twenty-four-hour news and its pernicious effects.

Year 10 pupil Amy served as our questioner for the evening, delivering probing and insightful comments, while Year 11 pupil Ruby, our vivacious Chairperson, conducted her round with expert finesse.

We look forward to attending the regional final at the ESU headquarters in Mayfair later this year.
