It’s been a busy time for our Junior footballers, playing fixtures against Merton Court and Southborough Primary Schools.

This week, two Year 5 teams played against Merton Court. Both teams worked well together focusing on their positioning as a team and their structure of play. One team came away with a 2-2 draw and the other lost 1-2 both teams having amazing games, showing great improvements from their tournament before half term.

Well done particularly to Helen for being voted player of the match and Belle who made some amazing saves, without her the score would have been very different.

We also hosted a fabulous afternoon of football against Southborough Primary School. Both A and B teams were in action and the competition was played to a high standard. Well done to the U11B team who, despite losing 0-4, were resilient and determined throughout. The U11A has a very closely fought game, the match was 1-1 for sometime, until Aimee and Eliza clinched the game with two goals in the closing minute. The final result was a 3-1 victory.
