Our Design and Technology department visited Southborough Primary School for a fun-packed morning, giving pupils the opportunity to experience the subject at secondary school level.
The pupils built electronic bugs which makes use of a rapidly spinning off-centre mass to cause movement. When the battery is connected the bug vibrates and moves around at random on a hard surface. The battery and motor are hung underneath so that their painted image can be attached.
The pupils designed and constructed some great designs.
