Sixth Form Economics pupils took part in a revision workshop led by Andrew Sykes, a former teacher of Economics, who has written numerous workbooks and study guides for exam board Edexcel.
He helped the pupils review a wide variety of topics, including elasticity, labour markets, the market mechanism, opportunity cost, and costs and revenue, through interactive sessions that involved us answering exam style questions. The workshop enabled them to consolidate and further their understanding on the topics that they have studied throughout the Economics A level course so far, allowing them to identify which areas to focus further revision on in preparation for the mock examinations in January.
