This week’s dance production, Silver Screen in Motion, was a spectacular showcase of talent, creativity, and passion, featuring 90 pupils from Year 7 to Year 13. The show celebrated the magic of the motion picture industry through a dynamic array of dances set to iconic songs from beloved films.
Audiences were captivated by performances featuring songs from The Greatest Showman, Billie Eilish’s Six Feet Under, the whimsical charm of Alice in Wonderland, and the high-energy beats of Men in Black, which added a futuristic flair to the evening.
Every performance reflected the hard work and dedication of the students, who brought these cinematic moments to life with exceptional choreography and stage presence. A big thank you goes to our student choreographers for your valuable contribution and creating such wonderful, creative pieces as well as all the student volunteers and staff for helping backstage and to the students and parents for coming to support the dancers.
The production was a vibrant tribute to the emotional and storytelling power of film music, leaving the audience inspired and entertained. It was a truly memorable week that celebrated the joy of dance and the magic of movies.
