Recently Year 8 and 9 pupils have enjoyed their Business Challenge extracurricular clubs. This activity involves students running a virtual pizza business, requiring them to make various business decisions related to their pizza business, such as considering the target market, pricing, and product quality.
The pupils also had to analyse accounts and determine the causes of profits and losses. The pupils were supported by the Sixth Form Subject Prefects for Business and Economics.
Additionally, they created samples of their advertising and packaging. The team with the most profit after five rounds was declared the winner. Congratulations to Hannah, Evangeline, Selina, and Hannah, who made a profit of £119,529.65!
The final session involved announcing the winners and sampling pizza from local delivery companies. The pupils participated in a blind taste test, considering both the price and quality of the available pizzas.
