Senior School Science teachers, Mrs Flower-Pettman and Dr Rowley had the opportunity to visit 10 Downing Street for a presentation from The Sandy Gunn Aerospace Careers Programme about STEM opportunities and careers in schools and colleges.
The Sandy Gunn Aerospace Careers Programme (ACP) supports young people and educational establishments across the UK with external, independent, up-to-date careers advice. The ACP works with its industry partners to excite young people’s interest in Engineering and inform them of the current and potential related career opportunities available.
The Science Department is looking forward to developing links with the industries they met and hosting events with the Sandy Gunn team in the near future. They are also very excited to be expanding the opportunities available to Bromley High School pupils through this initiative and others alike.
