Congratulations to our under 15 Hockey team who delivered a stellar performance at the fiercely competitive London Hockey Tournament, demonstrating resilience, skill, and teamwork throughout the day.

Competing against strong opponents, the team’s determination shone as they battled through challenging matches to claim an impressive third-place finish.

The tournament began with a solid 0-0 draw against Colfe’s School , marked by disciplined defending and a standout performance from our goalkeeper. Despite a narrow 0-1 loss to Eltham College in the next match, the team showcased their attacking intent and fighting spirit. Another hard-fought 0-0 draw followed against Alleyn’s Whites, where teamwork and defensive coordination were key.

A tough match against St Dunstan’s School ended in a 0-1 loss, but the team’s effort and perseverance never wavered. Finally, in the last match of the day, Tess led the team to a 2-0 victory over Alleyn’s Blues with two outstanding goals.

While choosing a single Player of the Tournament was difficult given the incredible efforts from every player, Tess’s decisive performance in the final game was a standout moment. Congratulations to the entire team for their hard work, determination, and well-deserved third-place achievement!

After the tournament, the team even enjoyed a fun game of table football, adding a touch of lightheartedness to a hard-fought day!
