Over eighty pupils from Years 5 to 8 took part in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge, an annual mathematics competition.
Many pupils practiced in the weeks, and even months leading up to the event, some also attended the Maths Challenge Club to be as ready as they could be for this challenge.
We are very proud our our pupils’ achievements: 28 Bronze, 23 Silver and 7 Gold certificates, with four pupils in Year 7 and 8 progressing to the next level called Kangaroo.
Two Year 6 pupils were invited to the Junior Kangaroo level with one Year 5 pupil going forward to the Junior Mathematical Olympiad.
