Our Early Years pupils were treated to a thrilling live interactive workshop of The Tempest by William Shakespeare.

The event, part of a collaboration between the Girls’ Day School Trust and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, was the second in ‘A Shakespearean Spring at the Globe’, an exclusive series of online storytellings, performances and workshops designed to immerse younger GDST pupils in the world of Shakespeare’s plays.

The workshop looked at the play’s language, characters, and themes, by playing lots of great games.

“We had so much fun at the workshop – it was so exciting acting out the story and becoming Prospero, Miranda and the monster!”Ms Victoria Huntley, Head of Early Years

The next live storytelling session with the Globe will be a live performance of Henry V which will take place after half term for Years 5 and 6.
