Throughout February and March, pupils in Years 3 to 6 will join in a series of exciting virtual science workshops from the L’Oréal Young Scientist Centre, based around themes such as light, sound and colour.
“I enjoyed the whole experience and all of the experiments, but if I had to chose one favourite, it would be when the sparks were touching the nitrogen liquid without making the fire go out. It was very unusual and fascinating.” Selina, Year 6
“My favourite part was the blow torch experiment, seeing the array of different colours was mesmerising!” Sophia, Year 6
“I loved when they sprayed chemicals on the blowtorch and the fire changed colour. I also liked when they put the liquid oxygen with the onion rings and blowtorch to make the ginormous fire” Vaanya, Year 6
