For their latest production, the drama department brought to life the timeless and magical tale of Beauty & The Beast. Exploring the true nature of beauty and the transformational power of love, the staging featured a cast of 40 of our most talented girls and a spectacular Year 8 choir. Based on Laurence Boswell’s thrilling and inventive adaptation originally staged by the RSC, the production was inspired by the origins of the tale in French folklore, and was filled with music, dance and song. Everyone’s hard work was plain to see and the performances were all wonderfully received. A big well done to all those involved!
