We are excited to announce that nominations for the GDST Alumna of the Year Award 2021 have opened up this week. All staff, students and alumnae are encouraged to submit nominations for an outstanding alumna who they think should be recognised for her achievements.
The winner will be interviewed for the alumnae magazine, GDST Girl for Life, and is awarded £500 to donate to a charity of their choice.
This year there are two categories – the main Alumna of the Year Award, and the Trailblazer Award, which celebrates a young alumna who’s making an early mark on the world. Nominations can be made for either category or both.
Past winners and finalists comes from all walks of life, and include scientists, actors, public servants, sportswomen, artists, entrepreneurs, charity founders, social activists, film makers, lawyers, historians, journalists/broadcasters, and musicians, to name just a few.
Last year, two Bromley High School alumnae, Kayisha Payne and Parisa Wright, reached the shortlist of just ten nominees across all GDST schools, which was a fantastic achievement.
Nominations close on 12th March and finalists will be shortlisted on 24th March.
