49 girls from Year 5 and 6 recently travelled to Newcastle on the annual Junior Music Tour where they took part in a joint concert with our sister school, Newcastle High School.
The girls joined together to sing songs associated with the North-East such as ‘The Keel Row’ and ‘Waters of Tyne’.
The next day, they performed a concert on their own in a church in Newcastle which was well-attended before going onto Bamburgh Castle where they were incredibly honoured to be asked to sing in the Kings Hall.
