To celebrate World Book Day this year, we welcomed Robin Stevens, author of the phenomenally successful Murder Most Unladylike series

She talked to our pupils from Years 5 to 8 and Year 7 offer holders about her books and where her inspiration comes from.

“I really enjoyed how Robin Steven read a segment of the book Death Sets Sail. It gave us an idea of how she plots her books, and it was compelling to listen to her read the book aloud. I also like how she told her backstory of why she was so inspired to write and solve mysteries. Alongside that, the chapter was exciting, and it made me want to read more of the book in the future.” Sky, Year 6
