Following the release of her first single in 2023, Year 13 pupils Elizabeth, known as Lilise on stage, has released her debut self-titled EP.
In 2022, Elizabeth embarked on a creative journey with professional guitarist Howard Johnstone to produce and master her original songs. Howard, an industry veteran with a 25-year teaching career, had notable achievements, including writing songbooks for Oasis, Blur, Bon Jovi and Wet Wet Wet, as well as being the guitarist for 80s legend Owen Paul.
One song, “Sweeter Than Poison”, garnered attention, with Toyah Willcox being a notable fan. They recorded the track in Howard’s studio, with him producing the guitar soundtrack and adding live drums. The song was in the mastering process for radio and streaming platforms.
Fast forward to 2024, and it’s the exciting release day of Lilise‘s debut self-titled EP containing five original tracks which showcase Lilise‘s diverse musical range.
Elizabeth is eager for listeners to experience her music and encourages sharing if they enjoy it.
